And,




X = 1 , Y = 5


Putting the value of x and y in equation (3)





3X + Y = 8



3 × 1 + 5 = 8



3 + 5 = 8



8 = 8




LHS = RHS

put y= 2 , we will get x=2
put y = 5 , we will get x= 1
