Dear friend,

● Answer -

(1) x = 1, y = -5

(2) x = 2, y = -1/2

◆ Explanations -

Given equation is

3x - 2y = 7

It is a linear equation in x & y and has an infinite no of solutions.

(1) Put x = 1,

3x - 2y = 7

3×1 - 2y = 7

3 - 2y = 7

-2y = 7 + 3

-y = 10/2

y = -5

(2) Put x = 2,

3x - 2y = 7

3×2 - 2y = 7

6 - 2y = 7

2y = 6 - 7

2y = -1

y = -1/2

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
