CaCo3 plays an important role in construction, be it as a building material (marble) or as an ingredient in cement. It is used in medicinal industries which manufacture antacids, tablets which are made of base materials etc. It is used as calcium supplements. It is used in the manufacture of paints, paper, plastics, etc.

H2o2 used on the skin to prevent infection of minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. It may also be used as a mouth rinse to help remove mucus or to relieve minor mouth irritation (e.g., due to canker/cold sores, gingivitis).
