When a coil is continuously rotated in an uniform magnetic field with its axis perpendicular to the magnetic field , the magnetic field lines passing through the coil change and an induced current is set up in it.
It works on the principle of "electromagnetic induction"

if a coil is rotated in a magnetic field it is impossible that the magnetic field is constant therefore if a coil is rotated within a magnetic field a magnetic field changes which introduced which induces current inside the coil
