1) Burning of wax.

Permenant Change.

Reason : Burning of wax is Permenant change because in burning, wax reacts with oxygen present in surroundings and forms carbon dioxide and ash.

2) Melting of wax.

Temporary Change.

Reason : Melting of wax is temporary change because wax can settle again on cooling and turns into a solid.

3) Glowing of bulb.

Temporary Change.

Reason : When electric current is passed through the bulb, the filament starts glowing and the glow stops as soon as we stop the current. Here, the change is temporary ,no new products are formed and there is no chemical change in the tungsten of the filament.

4) Digestion of food.

Permanent Change.

Reason : Digestion of food is a permanent change which is irreversible. Food is chemically changed in digestion when new, smaller substances are formed.

Hope this helps you
