Farming conditions all over India are more or less the same with just a bit different in the production and resources while overall the state of farmers are the same. In my area, farmers don't enjoy excessive production and survive merely on farming.
Famers in my area are forced to take up seasonal jobs and other works to survive, as farming is not enough to get them food for the whole year. The technology introduced in the farming sector has not reached here yet and farmers are totally dependent on old school methods and nature for farming.
Given the present conditions, there is a need for many changes in this sector, from changing farming methods to change in government policies and availability of resources. If some major steps are not taken then for future generations farming won't be an option for survival and no one will want to become a farmer.
