Independence Celebration at my school
As we all know, Independence Day is highly celebrated in every country. Our school, like others, celebrates the day with enthusiasm by arranging multiple programs and functions. Anyhow, this year, the school organized a list of varying programs that include, speech, debates, solo singing, group-singing, and multiple genres of dance performances. The function began in the morning at 09:00 am. The whole playground including the stage and seats were all freshly wrapped with colorful cloths and flowers. The performance commenced with the national song followed by some brave and enlightening speeches by our school-seniors. Later, different cultural programs were displayed in the decided sequence. The dance performance which I like the most was individual act of dance by one of my classmates- Raman. The schedule for the cultural functions ended with debate competition in which the students of class XI-A were success. Lastly, the final words were spoken by our Director and Manager to end the complete event.
While exiting the school premise, we were given sweets and snacks to take home. Moreover, I enjoyed the day and have decided to participate in one of the competitions next year.
