Write your observation when the following take place:- i)An aqueous solution of sodium chloride is heated to dryness. Ii) A mixture of iron filings and Sulphur is heated strongly iii) A saturated solution of copper sulphate is allowed to evaporate iv) A beam of light is passed through a colloidal solution. v) A suspension is left undisturbed.

i) An aqueous solution of sodium chloride is heated to dryness.
Crystals of sodium chloride will form


 ii) A mixture of iron filings and Sulphur is heated strongly 
A grey substance, iron (II) sulphide will form



iii) A saturated solution of copper sulphate is allowed to evaporate
Blue crystals of hydrated copper (II) sulphate will form



 iv) A beam of light is passed through a colloidal solution. 
Light will be dispersed,  process known as the Tyndall effect



v) A suspension is left undisturbed.
Solid particles will settle at the bottom of the container
