Too many frat societies, not enough work being done in the right direction.
In fact, many of today’s Universities have lost their academic direction. I mean to say that old models of thought no longer apply. Nobody is impressed anymore by diplomas, PhDs included. What counts are real world skills. Those are the skills that are required day-to-day in normal routine jobs.
All this fluff about Social and Inclusive Humanitarian Science of Politics or any other similarly named courses has to go… period. This road leads to nowhere, seriously. Either get a technical education, or a business one. Become a business owner, don’t let others stop you from working FOR YOURSELF instead of a manager that has less employment credentials academically than you do, but got the job based on his use of those same real world skills that most of today’s Universities simply don’t know how to provide anymore.
So, summing up, Higher Education is in a crisis state as of right now.
