Hello friends! My name is laburnum and I belong the peas family Fabaceae. I am found in hilly areas of Europe and the Balkan mountains is my homeland. My nickname is golden chain but people often call me golden rain. Carpenter's like me a lot and use me in their woodwork. Many musical instruments have been created out of my stem. Even farmers take help from me in their cultivation. My message to human beings is that they should plant more and more trees and stop deforestation.
I am a mixed breed of two species - the common laburnum and the alpine laburnum.
If you want to find me, you can travel throughout South Europe.
Botanists say that I am a deciduous tree with yellow coloured flowers.
People treat me as jewellery for their gardens and parks.
