Answer:

Everyone has a desire to fly once in the sky. In addition, I have a desire to fly in the sky. If I were a kite, I would fly in the open sky. If I were a kite, it would have been best. I would have dressed in different colors. I could fly with my freedom in the sky.

If I were a kite, I would live my life at my own will. I would keep flying with my wings. I would spend my life with fun, performing the responsibilities of human life. Like human beings, I would have no desires nor home fight. I would roam free from everywhere. There should be a life in which you have your freedom. It is very happy to live that life.

If I were a kite, I would just fly around in the sky being free from all problems. I would not care about anything, person, idea, fame, society, I would not care at all, nor would I have to be tie myself in bonds. I would not have to unnecessarily hold a human being throughout the life.

The fascination of the world, away from illusion, remains happy and touches the sky. If I were a flying kite, I would just fly and fly everywhere. I would not come down. I would just live in the sky and make my home there. There would be nobody to trouble me. Only birds would be my friend there. I would talk to them and play with them.

If I were a flying kite, I would touch the clouds. I would fly with birds. If I were a flying kite, I would try to cover the distance between earth and sky. I could go where it was my dream to go. I could see the whole world in the sky. I could touch the tallest buildings.

Answer:

My experience of flying a kite.

Explanation:

Born in an Indian family, celebrating festivals now and then has become a part of our life. And we all love them, one such festival is Makar Sankranti, eating different delicious food, apart from that, one activity that everybody does on this day is flying a kite.

Now, me being a single child never had any siblings or anyone who would teach me to fly a kite. But that Sankranti my elder cousin was coming to celebrate with us and I was all set to fly kite with him.

I was so excited about this, that I watched almost 100 videos on the Internet about how to fly a kite. I bought 5 kites in vivid colours and the best kite thread available in the market. I was just gazing at the kite till midnight then an important intervention was done by my mother she came and switched off the lights and ordered me to sleep. Still in that darkness, my kites had a little bit of shine. I slept dreaming about how high my kite will fly in the sky.

On Makar Sankranti morning my cousin came, and the entire family ate curd chivda and brown sugar with different types of vegetables then we all hailed to the rooftop. I gently carried my kites and thread like it's the most fragile thing on this earth right now!

At first, my cousin Manish asked me to hold the loop of thread and he showed me how to fly the kite, it was literally in the sky flying without wings. After a good flight of half an hour, somebody from the neighbourhood cut our thread. Upon realising that it was my turn my excitement went to its peak.

I was all ready, I held the kite in the most fragile way and tried to release it the way, Manish did but it did not fly I was instantly heartbroken. But I decided to give myself another chance. To my surprise, it was in the sky in no time I was holding its thread and was trying to control it.

It felt like I was in the sky and not the kite.

I and kite were on cloud nine. The sky looked so beautiful that day with hundreds of kites mine was flying highest. It was as easy as eating. I almost flew for more than an hour and then my thread broke and my kite was lost into oblivion.

All I realised was that we all are like that kite flying high in the sky yet bound by our duties and responsibilities like the thread if cut loses the thread, it might feel good for a little while but we will be lost like the kite.
