"Education is not just about going to school and getting a degree.It's about widening your knowledge and absorbing the truth about life."This is a famous quote of Shakuntala Devi.According to my view all school should run only 5 days in a week because it is sufficient to maximize their learning potential.Anything more than that will just burn the kids too much and puts them off from studies ;as a result of which there will be no efficient result.Finally going 5 days to the school will get them prepared for the schedule they will need to maintain for the bulk of life.
