in that time women didn't get that much freedom to speak about their views and at the age of 13 to 14 they have to marry also girls are not that much educated to think about divorce and when a woman's husband die the woman have to die in fire she has no choice to get remarried

Views about the Indian married system in India during pre independence time period, are as follows -

• The most significant term that we can use for the marriage system in India, during pre independence time period, is patriarchal.
• The women were completely deprived at that time period in every social sectors of our country including the marriage system.
• Women are even not allowed for choosing their own groom.
• And, the child marriage system was extremely popular at that time period.
• Little girls are often forced to married with persons of their father's age for glorifying the Sati Daha ritual.
• Inter caste marriage was not allowed and considered as the punishable crime at that time period and killing such couples of inter caste marriage was considered as morally correct.
