FISHKILL – St. Mary School recently held its annual science fair. The fair, which is an integral part of the science curriculum at the school, challenges students to expand their knowledge and present projects to the judges.

This year’s first-place winners did experiments focusing on topics ranging from “green living” to the effect of electronic devices on humans.

“I am always impressed by the quality of work and ingenuity our students display each year. We are so proud of all our participants ranging from first to eighth grade,” Principal Ellen Anderson said in a news release. “With the guidance and direction of our science teacher, Mrs. Kathy Spina, our school comes together as a community to celebrate this great learning experience and the children are all winners as they grow in confidence and their understanding of science.”

Winners will go on to compete in the county science fair.

on dec 23,2018...,In my school science fest was held. It was a memorable day in which i have got first prize for my demo and model. All my teachers and MLA had appreciated me. Alltogether it was a nice day in which I had learnt many valuable things and had got good respect in my school. My parents appreciated me alot. I really very satisfied on that day..
