=x²+2x+1
=x²+x+x+1
=x(x+1)+1(x+1)
=(x+1)(x+1)
x+1=0
⇒x= -1
∴zeroes of this polynomial are -1 and -1

Answer:

The value x of the given polynomial x^2+2x+1 are -1 and -1.

Solution:

Given polynomial is expressed as

x^2+2x+1

Factorizing the term x^2+2x+1

we get,

\begin{array} { c } { x ^ { 2 } + 2 x + 1 = 0 } \\\\ { x ^ { 2 } + x + x + 1 = 0 } \\\\ { x ( x + 1 ) + 1 ( x + 1 ) = 0 } \\\\ { ( x + 1 ) ( x + 1 ) = 0 } \\\\ { x = - 1 \text { and } x = - 1 } \end{array}

∴ The zeroes of x^2+2x+1 are -1 and -1.
