Sir,

We beg to bring to your kind notice the fact that we do not receive adequate help from the college library. The books we require for reference are not available. The books are mentioned in the catalogue, but the-librarian -says that physically the books are not there. He cannot also give any satisfactory explanation as to what exactly happened to those books, nor can he console us saying that the books would be available in near future. This is really very disappointing. For reference we mainly depend on the College Library, because the books are so costly that we cannot buy them.

We, therefore, request you to be good and kind enough to buy some new books for the College Library. Facilities for borrowing books from the Lending Library may also be given to us so that at a time we can get a number of books for our reference.
