main function of parenchyma is storage of photosynthesis.and as the bulk of ground and vascular tissues palaside parenchyma cells are elogated cells located in many leaves just below the epidermal tissue.

FUNCTIONS
=> parenchyma stores and assimilate food
=> they give mechanical support to plant body by maintainig rigidity..
