Writing
15 Think of a familiar place (for example, your
school library, the science lab, or your kitchen).
A. Write down the feeling that you get from
that place and why you get that feeling.
B. In your notebook, make 3 columns with
| the headings: what; where; it means.
Make a list of about 10 objects that you
see in that place, where exactly you see
that object, and what clue it gives you
about people or events in that place.
C. Using your 3-column chart, write a
paragraph that describes what you
see in this place. Each thing should say
something about the people who visited
that place or events that happened there.
