Nidhi was a poor, hardworking, honest girl. She studied in the X standard and after class, would go to work in the local supermarket. This way she could earn some money to support her aged mother and younger brother. One days as she was rushing to the supermarket, she saw a thick packet lying by the roadside, neatly wrapped and taped. At first, she was apprehensive, for it could be some kind of explosive. But curiosity got the better of her.
Picking it up, she went to the quiet shade of a tree and opened it. It contained wads and wads of currency notes! Immediately she took it to the nearest Police station and handed it over to the Sub-Inspector. The next day she got a call from the Police station, saying that the rightful owner who had dropped it wanted to reward her! Nidhi’s happiness knew no bounds!
