We are asked to write an anecdote where we were honest in a difficult situation. The anecdote written will be as under:

This incident was during the time I was writing my twelfth CBSE examination. My friend was sitting in front of me and as she did not know the answer to the question she was trying to cheat.

She was caught by the examiner and she refused to say that she was cheating. So the examiner asked me whether I saw anything and I chose to say the truth rather than a lie. My friend was very angry with me thinking that I was doing injustice with our friendship.

She left school after this incident and joined her father in his business and is now in a better position than what even I am now. Later when I met her she thanked me for telling me that if I had not told the truth she would have never joined her father in his business and would not be in the situation she was now in. I accepted her apologizes immediately and to date, she is my best friend.
