CCTV stands for closed circuit television. It is comprised of a camera which is used for transmitting any data or information to a monitor which is under eye control. The data under surveillance can be video or audio or video and audio. For the safety purpose they are fitted on the buildings, homes, or any other structures. These closed circuit televisions are used for the recordings of activity in supermarket or any other public place or for the documentary purpose.
CCTV camera firstly captures images, and video signal are continuously transmitted for which the feature of time varying of the signal is a representation of some other time varying quantity, i.e., analogous to another time varying signal. The video recorder keeps all these analog signal and digitalizing it to keep the data in HDD form.
