"I tried to restart the bike but in vain". It refused to start. The weather worsened. It was pouring cats and dogs accompanied by wrathful flashes of lightning.
With my bike kaput I had no other option but to seek refuge in a shade. Standing under a tree would be risky with the thunder and lightning. I found a rocky cave and went in.
With my mobile phone's torch I flashed the light around. To my surprise and horror there inside was a huge snake, a stray dog and a cat.
The snake scared the life out of me, but my options were limited. Either I went out and got struck down by lightning or crouch here expecting a snake bite at any moment.
The rain poured incessantly paying no heed to my fears. Like Hamlet I remained undecisive 'To go out or remain inside that was the question'.
I sat still. I noticed the snake did not budge. Nor did the dog or cat. All stayed still, lost in their thoughts, waiting for the rain to stop.
I prayed to God to save me. I realised that Man is the most powerful and shrewd creation of God but in the hands of Nature he is the most vulnerable.
He is the creature who fears the most. Slowly the rain stopped. Before I could go out I found that the snake had slithered away, the dog was shaking itself getting ready to go. The cat was waiting for it to get dry. I too slowly left my temporary refuge.
I realised that there existed a kinship between Man and his creations. If Man didn't harm his fellow beings they too would not harm him. I left the place and dragged my bike to the nearest repair shop. I had learnt a very important lesson that day, the lesson of living in harmony with our fellow beings.

Story:
I tried to restart the bike but in vain. I opened the petrol tank and there was no petrol in it. I waited for a vehicle to come and there was none. The sun started to set, thus, I started to walk through the lonely road. I left the key for the bike in the bike itself. I returned to the bike and took my key.
Now, the sky became dark. I walked with a long stick in my hand to scare off the animals. After going for some distance, I heard a weak noise. When I reached closer the source, I started to hear the noise louder. I wish I had torch in my hand. There was sufficient moon light to see something was lying there.
When I reached closer, I saw a dog with three puppy. One puppy was dead and other two was alive. The mother is also dead. The mother died giving birth to the puppies. From the face of the mother, I saw that she struggled greatly.
I dug a big hole to place both mother and puppy to place them side by side. I buried them. Other two puppies were staring me with their pretty eyes. The moon was reflecting from their face. I held both the puppies in my arm and started to work.
Both the puppies leaked me and the tickle teared my face.
