Write a short story in about 200 - 250 words on the basis of the following hints. Feel free to inventall
the necessary details like the setting characters, events and dialogues,
• Emperor - too old to rule
Decides to choose a successor
• Gives a group of young people a seed each to grow and come back with the plant after a year
• A year later everyone comes with a plant each but only Ling's pot had none
• Emperor pronounces Ling next King because he was honest
• The emperor had given all boiled seeds
• When they did not sprout, most young people replaced them with healthy plants
• Only Ling kept trying to get a plant from the seed
. Came to the King's palace with an empty pot
• Rewarded for his courage and honesty
