SOLIDS -
1) solid is the state in which matter maintains a fixed volume and shape
2) there are very less space between the solid paricles
GASES-
1) gases is the state in which matter neither maintains a fixed shape nor a fixed volume.
2) there are too much space between the gaseous particles.
