ii) To seprate damage seed from healthy ones. ( Biology)

i) Try to put a piece of nylon soaked in a glass filled with water. Do the same with a piece of cotton cloth. Observe after 12 hours which fabric has soaked more water. You will notice cotton as a natural fabric has soaked more water than nylon since the latter is a synthetic fiber.

ii) First, we put all the seeds in a cup of water and let settle down , after half an hour we see towards cup , we see that some seeds are rise up and float in water and some seeds are under the water. the float seeds are damage seed and those seed which are under the water are healthy seeds.
