necessary to organise the people.without a government the population would be like like a disorganised mass with no means of collective action . it is needed and has reasons to exist because it performs important functions.

a governement 's duties usually include passing laws and making sure that they are obeyed,defending the country,looking after essential services , such as health and relations

with other countries . the tasks of government can be categorised into three groups . these are also known as organs of the government:

1) the legislature: the legislature passes laws.

2) the executive : the laws are put into effects by the executive.

3)the judiciary :itakes sure that laws are enforced properly
