Ashish had never thought even in his dream that he would never had won such a huge amount of money in the lottery. He was so elated that he could not not sleep a wink.

A week earlier he had bought a lottery ticket on his way home. He had proceeded to scratch the ticket and look casually at the numbers. His wife had always tried to dissuade him from purchasing tickets but her efforts were futile.

He had stashed the ticket in a drawer and forgotten about it for a week. He had continued with usual routine. Hundrends of tickets had accumulated over the years. His wife  had never fancied his lottery mentality. She had always though it was a waste of both time and money.

However, he was determined to prove her wrong. On his way back from work one day, he heard the winning numbers over the radio. He was astonished, he could not believe his good luck.As an accountant his salary could not suffice to support his family.

A million dollars would make him rich! He had even started thinking of how he would spend the money he had won.
