If frictional force is a contact force and is not possible in vaccum, then how does satellites experience frictional force??

Answer:
although space is a good vaccum but somehow there is also some sparse air and some other particles moving on,due to which it may experience frictional force.
Its my own view and might it will be correct.
Best answers always come from disscussions and your views.
Now it depends on uhh ,whether to mark or report.
hope it will help uhh.

Satellites using an electrodynamic tether, moving through the Earth's magnetic field, creates drag force that could eventually deorbit the satellite. There is a satellite orbiting the Earth. It runs into some particles, and due to friction, the satellite loses speed. As it does so, the force of gravity gets stronger and again the object moves closer to the Earth.
