Explanation:
On my rail journey from Delhi to Chandigarh, I found myself sitting next to an elderly gentleman. He was dressed in a white shirt and a pair of beige trousers- the kind of combination that my grandfather always wore. Going by how he peered at the newspaper, I judged that he was one of the old timers who read really slowly. Sometime later, he pulled out a copy of Bhagwad Gita and started reading it. He was definitely a religious retired man who probably spent a lot of time in the temple.
Some days later, my friend took me along to attend a seminar on entrepreneurship. To my utter surprise, the seminar was being conducted by the same gentleman I had travelled with, on the train. I was completely stunned! The person who I thought was a quiet, retired man, was animatedly interacting with the audience. He was dressed in a smart suit and looked impressive. He was quoting the Gita and applying it to entrepreneurship! I doubt if he noticed me in the crowd, but I was very embarrassed about judging him without even knowing him. Attending that seminar taught me a valuable lesson- never judge anyone.
