Hey there!!!

First of all we need to know What bases are?

➱ Bases are tose Chemical Substances which are bitter in taste ,soapy to touch and turn red litmus to blue

For Example - NaOH etc

Reaction \: with \: non \: - metallic \: \: \: oxide \: = >
➪ bases react with non metallic oxide or acidic oxides to produce salt and water this reaction prove that non metallic oxides are acidic in nature

or
Base + Non - metallic oxide ⟶ salt + water

For Example -

C0₂ + Ca( OH) ₂ ⟶ CaCO₃ + H₂0

Hope this would help you !!!
