Answer:

A chemical reaction between an acid and a base is known as Neutralisation Reaction. Example:

I) NaOH + HCI = NaCI + H2O.

II) 2KOH + H2SO4 = K2SO4 + 2H2O.

Answer:

neutralization or neutralisation is a chemical reaction in which acid and a base react quantitatively with each other. In a reaction in water, neutralization results in there being no excess of hydrogen or hydroxide ions present in the solution.

eg-NaOH + HCl → H2O
