Corrosion

Corrosion is nothing but a natural or organic process which involves the conversion of purified metal into such a form which is comparatively more stable chemically. These forms generally include the oxides, hydroxides or sulphides of the metal. Since corrosion happens automatically, there certain measures to prevent it too.

Rancidity

Rancidity is nothing but also a process in which oils and fats when left exposed to air, moisture or light oxidizes completely or incompletely, as the case may be, due to the action of bacteria on them. This when takes place over food or eatables, makes them smell badly and with unpleasant taste.
