Environment in true sense can be difined as all around us. Environment is our basic life support system. It provide the air we breath, the fiod we eat and land where we live .It includes plants, animals and large vatiety of man made things which are necessary for living. Thus, environment has both natural and man made element.

The environment must be protected because it fulfill all needs of our life.
Human beings, as an important part of environment , are equipped to exploit, consume or utilise different plant and animal species existing on the earth's surface. It is need of the present time that we should live in harmony with our surrounding .
