⟹ Nila, a young girl of 14 is a student of class 9 of Noapara Girls High school, Noepara. She was a poor girt but had an aspiration to help her family for a better life. On her way to school, a boy named Alam used to tease her very often. But she didn't get frustrated. He used to tease her by seeing her torn clothes. She use to bear all and console herself by saying that I will win one day.

⟹ Nila use to bring some fruits for tiffin and somedays she use to bring empty tiffin to escape from Alam's jokes. One day as she was eating her tiffin, Alam with her friends came to her and started joking at her by seeing her tiffin. Nila burst out at him and said " I am thanking God for getting one day food". She cried and went out of classroom. Alam started feeling sorry for Nila. Alam tried to help Nila in her studies. At first Nila ignored him but slowly and gradually they became friends. Nila was smart in learning, but paying fees was difficult for her so alam helped her in paying fees. Alam use to do part time job for his necessities so from that he use to help Nilam.

⟹ Nilam also use to do part time job and from the left time she use to learn. In this way she became a professor and started leading a happy life. Alam use to be her friend forever and they were best friends.
