ANSWER
The CPU is made up of three main components, the control unit , the immediate access store and the arithmetic and logic unit .
There are two key types of primary memory:
RAM, or random access memory.
ROM, or read-only memory.
Real life example of a ROM is in the latest generation smartphones. The internal storage of a smartphone is based on ROM like 16GB, 32GB, etc.
Real life example of a RAM is in your desktop computers, laptops or phones. Nowadays, The RAM in desktops or laptops can vary from 4GB to 64GB of RAM.
Common secondary storage devices are the hard disk and optical disks.
The hard disk has enormous storage capacity compared to main memory.
The hard disk is usually contained inside the case of a computer.
The hard disk is used for long-term storage of programs and data.
These binary digits are known as bits, and are the smallest possible unit for data storage. When 8 bits are combined, you get a byte. Bytes are used to store a single character; whether's it a letter, number, or punctuation.
In computing, BIOS (/ˈbaɪɒs, -oʊs/, BY-oss, -ohss; an acronym for Basic Input/Output System and also known as the System BIOS, ROM BIOS or PC BIOS) is firmware used to perform hardware initialization during the booting process (power-on startup), and to provide runtime services for operating systems and programs.
Current and former suppliers of CPU chips also include companies such as Compaq, Digital Electronics Corporation (DEC), Hewlett-Packard (HP), International Business Machines (IBM), Motorola, Transmeta, Samsung, Texas Instruments, and Sun Microsystems.
The technical characteristics of a computer is ability to calculate and data storage, other than these speed, accuracy reliability, and consistency are also the strengths of the computer. It is said that computer works like a human brain.
hertz (Hz)
The unit of measurement called a hertz (Hz), which is technically one cycle per second, is used to measure clock speed. In the case of computer clock speed, one hertz equals one tick per second. The clock speed of computers is usually measured in megahertz (MHz) or gigahertz (GHz).
