Hope it helps...

Diameter of the circlular pond= 17.5 m
Radius= (17.5/2) m = 8.75 m
Area of the circular pond= π r^2 = (22/7) × 7.5625 = 240.625 m

Width of the path= 3.5 m

Diameter of the circular pond along with the path around it= (17.5 + 3.5) m = 21 m
Radius= (21/2) m = 10.5

Now, area of the circular pond along with the path= π r^2 = (22/7)×110.25 = 346.50 m

Again, area of the path
= Area of pond with path- Area of the pond
= (346.50-240.625) m
= 105.875 m = 106 m (approx)

Therefore, the area of the path is approximately 106 m.
