Answer:

Answer:

No of balls are 7830.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Radius of plastic ball, r = 1 cm

          Thickness of tube = 2 cm

          Length of Tube, h = 90 cm

          Outer radius of Tube,  = 30 cm

To find: No. of Balls

Volume of a ball = volume of sphere

                           =

                           =

                           =

Inner radius of tube,  = 30 - 2 = 28 cm

Volume of tube = Volume of Outer cylinder - Volume of Inner Cylinder

                         =

                         =

                         =

                         =

Therefore, No of balls are 7830.

radius of plastic ball = 1cm (R)

outer radius =  30cm (r₂)

thickness of tube = 2cm

inner radius = outer radius -thickness

           r₁         =  30-2

                    = 28cm

length of tube = 90cm

let no. of ball be  m.

it is given that balls are melted to form pipe

∴   m × vol of one ball = vol of pipe

  m = π(r₂²-r₁²)h/ 4/3πR³

  m =  (30²-28²)90  /(4/3* 1³)

  m = 116 * 3 * 90/4

  m = 58 * 3 * 45

  m  =  7830

7830 balls should be melted
