10x=9•999....
10x-x=(9•999...)-(0•999...)
9x=9
x=9/9
x=1
but x does not equal to 0•9999...
can you explain it?​

it is not equal to 1 but we can say that 0.999 can be estimated and written in the form of 1 because 500 < 999.
