Value of X =  \frac{3}{8}

GIVEN:-

x-1/2×1/2=1/8

To Find:- Value of x

SOLUTION:-

According to Question

x -  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{1}{2}

By applying BODMAS RULE

STEP 1:- Multiply

  x -  \frac{1 \times 1}{2 \times 2} =  \frac{1}{8}   \\  x -  \frac{1}{4}  =  \frac{1}{8}

When we shift an integer from one side to another we change its signs.

x =  \frac{1}{8}  +  \frac{1}{4}

By taking LCM to make denominator equal LCM= 8

x =  \frac{1 \times 1}{8 \times 1}  +  \frac{1 \times 2}{4 \times 2}  \\ x =  \frac{1}{8}  +  \frac{2}{8}

We'll add the numerators.

x =  \frac{1 + 2}{8}  \\ x =  \frac{3}{8}

HENCE, VALUE OF X =   = \frac{3}{8}
