Solution:-

• $\sf \: { 1 }^{ st } observation = x - 1$

• $\sf \: { 2 }^{ nd } observation = x + 5$

• $\sf \: { 3 }^{ rd } observation = 2x + 1$

• $\sf \: { 4 }^{ th } observation = 3x + 1$

• $\sf \: Median = 18$

According to the Question:-

$\sf\longrightarrow \: Median = \dfrac { Middle \: two \: number } { 2 }$

$\sf\longrightarrow \: 18 = \dfrac { x + 5 + 2x + 1 } { 2 }$

$\sf\longrightarrow \: 18 = \dfrac { 3x + 6 } { 2 }$

$\sf\longrightarrow \: 3x + 6 = 18 \times 2$

$\sf\longrightarrow \: 3x = 36 - 6$

$\sf\longrightarrow \: 3x = 30$
