Correct Question:

(x+1) ²=2(x-3), Check whether the following are quadratic equation or not.

Quadratic Equation:

Equation having only one variable with the degree two is known as the quadratic equation.

Standard Form of a quadratic equation:

ax²+bx+c=0

Solution:

(x+1) ²=2(x-3)

x²+2x+1=2x-6

x²+2x-2x+1+6=0

x²-7=0

So (x+1) ²=2(x+3) is a quadratic equation.
