(x+1)²=2(x-3)
Class 10 exercise 4.1 first Roman 1st question?

Hey mate!

Here is yr answer.....


(x+1)² = 2(x-3)

x²+2x+1 = 2x-6

x²+2x-2x = -6-1

x² = -7

x = -√7

( {x + 1)}^{2}  = 2(x - 3) \\  {x}^{2} + 2x + 1 = 2x - 6 \\  {x}^{2}   + 2x - 2x + 1 + 6 = 0 \\  {x}^{2}  + 7 = 0 \\  {x}^{2}  =  - 7 \\ x =   +  -  \:  \sqrt{7}
