(x-1)² = (2x-3)²

±√[(x-1)²] = 2x-3

±(x-1) =2x-3

Taking +ve,

x-1 = 2x-3

-1+3 =2x-x

3-1 =x
2 =x

Taking -ve,

-1(x-1) = 2x-3

-x +1 = 2x-3

+1+3 = 2x+x

4=3x

4/3 =x

I hope this this will help you

DaIncredible: you rock ✌
Ramanujmani: correct
mysticd: one small correction ,
mysticd: x - 1 = ± ( 2x + 3 )
mysticd: x has two values because it is a quadratic equation.
