(x-1)^2-3x+4\\=x^2-2x+1-3x+4\\=x^2-5x+5\\D=\sqrt{b^2-4ac}\\ D=\sqrt{25-4*1*5}\\ D=\sqrt{25-20}\\ D=\sqrt{5}\\ x=\frac{-b+\sqrt{D}}{2a} \\ or\\x=\frac{-b-\sqrt{D}}{2a}\\Hence,\\x=\frac{-(-5)+\sqrt{5}}{2}\\or \\x=\frac{-(-5)-\sqrt{5}}{2}\\\\x=\frac{5+\sqrt{5}}{2}\\and\\x=\frac{5-\sqrt{5}}{2}
