(x-1)/(2x+1) +(2x+1)/(x-1)=2
=>{(x-1)^2+(2x+1)^2}/(x-1)(2x+1)=2
=>(x^2-2x+1+4x^2+4x+1)/(2x^2-x-1)=2
=> 5x^2+2x+2=4x^2-2x-2
=> x^2+4x+4=0
=>(x+2)^2=0
=> x=-2
=>{(x-1)^2+(2x+1)^2}/(x-1)(2x+1)=2
=>(x^2-2x+1+4x^2+4x+1)/(2x^2-x-1)=2
=> 5x^2+2x+2=4x^2-2x-2
=> x^2+4x+4=0
=>(x+2)^2=0
=> x=-2

on solving , the roots come out to be -
x=-2 and x=-2 (both are same )
