(x + 1)(2x + 3) \\ = 2x^{2} + 2x + 3x + 3 \\ = 2x^{2} + 5x + 3

given :- (x + 1) (2x + 3) = 0

➡ x + 1 = 0

➡ x = -1

also

➡ 2x + 3 = 0

➡ 2x = -3

➡ x = -3/2

hence, the roots of the polynomial is -1 and -3/2
