Answer:

diameter of the sun is 1.4 × 10 raise to power 9 M and the diameter of the Earth is 1.2756 × 10 raise to power 7 M show that the diameter of the sun is nearly hundred times the diameter of the earth

Solution :

Diameter of the sun is 1.4 × 10^9 m

Diameter of the moon is 3.475 × 10^6 m

Now,

Diameter of the Sun/Diameter of the moon :-

= 1.4 × 10^9/3.475 × 10^6

= 1.4 × 10³/3.475

= 14 × 10²/3.475

= 4.02 × 10²

≈ 4 × 10² ≈ 400
