given :\\\\x = \frac{1}{4} \\\\y = \frac{3}{2} \\\\for\ addition \ and \ subtraction, \ the\ denominators\ needs\ to\ be\ the \\same\\\\\frac{1}{4} \\\\\frac{3}{2} * \frac{2}{2}  = \frac{6}{4} \\\\(\frac{1}{4} + \frac{6}{4} ) / (\frac{1}{4} - \frac{6}{4} )\\\\\\\frac{7}{4} / \frac{-5}{4} \\\\\frac{7}{4} * \frac{-4}{5} \\\\\frac{-28}{20}
