Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{( x+ 1)(4x - 3) - 4 {x}^{2}  + 5}{4x  + 1}  = 2 \\

x(4x - 3) + 1(4 x - 3) -  4{x}^{2}  + 5 = 2(4x + 1) \\

4 {x}^{2}  - 3x + 4x - 3 -  4{x}^{2} + 5 = 8x + 2

x + 2 = 8x + 2

2 - 2 = 8x - x

0 = 7x

x = 0
