Answer:

x+1/2=x+2/3

cross Multiply

3x+2= 2x+4

3x‐2x=4‐2

x=1

Answer is 1

  \implies \dfrac{x + 1}{2 }  =  \dfrac{x + 2}{3}

Now cross multiply :-

\implies(x + 1)3 =  {(x + 2)2}

\implies3x + 3 =  {2x + 4}

Now bring like terms together :-

\implies3x  - 2x =  {  4} - 3

\implies \: x =  1

Answer : 1

Verification of answer :

We can verify our answer by putting x = 1 in :-

\implies \dfrac{x + 1}{2 }  =  \dfrac{x + 2}{3}

If we get right hand side and left hand side equal then our answer is correct.

Therefore now LHS :-

\implies \dfrac{x + 1}{2 }

Put x = 1 in LHS :-

\implies \dfrac{1+ 1}{2 }

\implies \dfrac{2}{2 }

Cancel out 2 from denominator and numerator :

\implies 1

Now we will find RHS :-

\implies\dfrac{x + 2}{3}

put x = in RHS :-

\implies\dfrac{1 + 2}{3}

\implies\dfrac{3}{3}

Cancel out 3 from denominator and numerator :

\implies \: 1

Therefore RHS = LHS . So our answer x= 1 is correct.

Hence verified
